coordinate clause (grammar) one of two or more clauses in a sentence that are equal in importance, have similar patterns and are often joined by and, or, but, etc 并列分句(一个句子中所含有的至少两个地位相等、 结构相似的分句之一, 常以and、 or、 but等词相连接). Cf 参看 subordinate clause (subordinate).
